SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE
Looking for the first SDR to join an exciting US healthtech startup that develops an innovative AI orchestration platform.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in Romania with 5–7 years of experience in outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, and sales enablement. The SDR will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing opportunities with senior executives (VPs, Directors, and AI leaders) at large healthcare organizations and enterprises (initially from the US market and then they will expand to other areas too).
The hiring company is healthcare’s AI orchestration platform. They turn disconnected AI pilots into a unified, enterprise-scale program that delivers measurable value. Teams use their platform to design, execute, and monitor intelligent agents driving automation, insights, and action with the control and observability needed to scale safely. Built for real-world complexity, their platform supports multiple model providers, integrates with existing infrastructure, and is available as SaaS or self-hosted.
You will be the first SDR in their team and you will have the chance to learn about the AI & Healthcare side of the business.
SALARY & COLLABORATION
- 17.000 - 21 500 RON GROSS/month;
- Collaboration available through CIM/PFA/SRL;
- Flexible remote in Cluj-Napoca.
- Work hours: 12:00- 20.00 PM (EET - RO time)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Outbound Prospecting: Build and execute targeted outreach campaigns via email, phone, LinkedIn, and events (webinars, conferences) to engage executives in healthcare organizations;
- Lead Qualification: Research accounts, identify decision-makers, and qualify inbound and outbound leads to ensure strong pipeline quality;
- Messaging & Personalization: Craft tailored, value-driven outreach aligned with the company’s positioning around ROAI;
- Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships teams to refine outreach strategies and ensure seamless handoff of qualified opportunities;
- Metrics & Reporting: Consistently achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly metrics (calls, meetings booked, pipeline generated);
- Market Intelligence: Track market trends, competitor activity, and prospect feedback to refine outreach and inform strategy;
- Process Optimization: Contribute to playbook development and continuously improve prospecting workflows.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5–7 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales development (outbound), with a proven track record of exceeding targets;
- Previous experience in conducting sales for the US market (research, cold emails, cold calls, campaigns etc.);
- Familiarity with the US healthcare payer/provider landscape, enterprise AI adoption, or healthcare IT is a strong plus;
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills;
- Proficiency in HubSpot, Linkedin Sales Navigator and other AI sales automation tools;
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment;
- Fluent English required;
- NIce to have: previous experience in a Tech startup or SaaS enterprise.
